Job Description / Responsibility:

• Applications are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for 03 (three) position of Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, the Central Bank of Bangladesh.
• The appointment will be on a contractual basis for a 4 (four) years term. Compensation will be according to the pay structure as determined by the government.

Educational Requirements: Minimum Master Degree with Honours from a recognized Bangladeshi or foreign university.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 25 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements:

• Age must not exceed 60 years on 30 November, 2011.
• Minimum 25 years of experience at a senior level position (regulatory or management) in the Central Bank or in any local or international Commercial Banks or Financial Institutions.
• Formal training in banking & non-banking financial institutions.
• Should have expertise in analytical, practical or theoretical aspects of Central Banking, Commercial Banking or Financial Markets.
• Should have national recognition as an individual with excellent communication and coordination skills.
