33rd BCS Examination will be held on 1st June 2012, at 10.00 am

Recruitment of government service preliminary test 33rd BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) will be held on 1st June 2012 declared by Public Service Commission of Bangladesh on Tuesday 10th April 2012. A  official of Bangladesh Public Service Commission  has said Approximately  13,500 thousand applicant failed to apply for the test cause of Teletalk SMS payment system. Beyond objection and demand of failed applicant PSC declared the date of 33rd BCS test. This is first time candidates have sent their applications online for any BCS test

Public Relation officer of PSC Mr. Mir Mosharof Hossain said media about the decision of declared test date.

According to PSC (1,83,627) One Lac Eighty Three Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty Seven application received by online application system. Circular published to recruit four thousand two hundred and six vacant position as on 29.02.12. Application received through online application system from 8 March to 7 April,2012.

After fill up online application  form an applicant paid 500 Tk. fee through SMS payment system of Teletalk. But at the end of application date time period last 2 days application server was too busy to responded and many applicant failed to apply as well as pay the fee due to teletalk server incapability. This is why PSC circulate previously that apply as early as possible to escape from this kind of technical limitations.
Examination venue and seat plan will be published on the national daily news paper latter on.

The 33rd BCS invites application to fill up 4,206 vacant posts. This test will recruit vacant government service post, under the general category, 300 will be recruited for BCS (administration), 89 for police, 69 for tax, 16 for foreign affairs and 566 as general cadres.
